Vendor Risk Management Analyst - 2

About the role

AB, a global investment management firm, is seeking a Vendor Risk Management Analyst to support ongoing enhancements to its Vendor Risk Management program through data management, documentation and engagement with the program's framework, processes and platforms. The analyst executes goals for process enhancement and vendor inventory enrichment mainly through day-to-day support tasks, including managing vendor data and inventory and supporting the annual vendor due diligence questionnaire exercise.

Key responsibilities

• Manage vendor data and inventory and support the annual vendor due diligence questionnaire exercise, including configuring ProcessUnity, sending questionnaires and tracking responses.
• Become a subject matter expert and central support resource for users.
• Perform data consolidation and entry tasks.
• Create new vendor profiles with key data points and enrich existing ones.
• Maintain data and document repositories according to governance requirements.
• Design and configure workflows in ProcessUnity, such as the Inherent Risk Questionnaire and Due Diligence Questionnaire.
• Look for opportunities to improve operational processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree.
• Minimum 1 year of in-office experience, with 3 years preferred.
• Preferred: prior data management, risk management or audit experience in banking/finance or a similar function, related to technology, information security or operational risk.
• Preferred: experience with workflow and platform development, API and enterprise application integration (e.g., ServiceNow, Workday), vendor risk management and GRC platforms, dashboard and reporting, data migration and transformation, and SDLC, testing and change management best practices.

Required skills

• Intermediate to advanced Excel.
• Knowledge of a low-code SaaS tool and familiarity with configuration.
• Strong verbal and written English.
• Analytical, problem-solving and data mining aptitude, prioritization and deadline awareness.

The role offers exposure to senior business and technology stakeholders and to the evolution of the firm's risk program. The shift is 2:30 PM to 11 PM IST, based in Pune.
