AO/RFP Writer - Fixed Income

About the role

AllianceBernstein's Request for Proposal (RFP) team in Pune is looking for an RFP writer to support business development and client service on Fixed Income Strategies. The writer produces RFPs, RFIs and some due diligence requests, working closely with Senior RFP Writers, Management, Product Managers, Portfolio Managers and Sales Teams. The role covers the full RFP lifecycle, from screening and project management to content creation, updates, follow-up and proposal production.

Key responsibilities

• Write a high volume of RFPs for Fixed Income strategies and support other asset classes as needed
• Liaise with portfolio management, product management/marketing, legal, operations and AUM reporting to gather information
• Create and maintain RFP language covering investment process, research process, team information and competitive advantages
• Keep product messaging and RFP database content up to date, and customize documents to each sales opportunity
• Follow up on RFPs moving to the next phase and oversee formatting, technical editing and reproduction of final proposals
• Handle multiple projects at once and field ad-hoc questions from the Client Response Center daily

Required profile

• 5-8 years of RFP and industry experience; direct experience with Fixed Income RFP content is required
• Knowledge of the fixed income market and the asset management industry
• Detail-oriented, with strong project management and organizational skills
• Strong verbal and written communication, able to work independently and in a large global organization
• Ability to learn technical product information and to work under pressure
• Interest in interacting with Sales Advisors, Portfolio Managers and other investment professionals
• CFA Level I cleared and an MBA in Finance

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word
• Ability to quickly master internal systems and applications
