About the role
The Turbine Control Room Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of steam, gas or industrial turbines in a power plant environment. The role ensures continuous, optimal power generation while managing high‑temperature and high‑pressure equipment.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor turbine performance and plant parameters from the DCS control room.
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting and corrective actions on turbine and auxiliary systems.
- Maintain equipment performance to meet generation targets and safety standards.
Required profile
- 3 to 8 years of experience operating turbines or similar power‑plant equipment.
- Technical background with ability to work in high‑pressure, high‑temperature environments.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Distributed Control Systems (DCS).
- Hands‑on turbine operation and monitoring.
- Maintenance and troubleshooting of steam/gas turbines.
