Travel Consultant - Sales

About the role

The Travel Consultant – Sales is the first point of contact for customers exploring trips with Dream On Travel. You will understand travel needs, answer questions confidently, and turn inquiries into confirmed bookings while managing your own pipeline of leads.

Key responsibilities

• Handle inbound inquiries via phone, WhatsApp, and social media, qualify leads and gather trip preferences, budget and timeline.
• Explain itineraries, pricing, inclusions and exclusions clearly to build customer confidence.
• Follow up on warm leads using provided cadences and templates.
• Maintain accurate records of each lead and its status in the CRM or tracking sheet.
• Coordinate with the operations team once a booking is confirmed to ensure smooth hand‑off.
• Relay recurring customer feedback and objections to marketing and leadership.

Required profile

• Graduate in any field; specialisation in marketing, communication or travel is a plus.
• 2–5 years of experience in sales, telesales or customer engagement, preferably phone‑based.
• Comfortable communicating on the phone and via chat, motivated by personal targets.
• Early‑to‑mid career professional seeking deep travel‑industry sales experience.

Required skills

• Proficiency with a CRM system for lead tracking.
