Trade & Working Capital Operations Analyst

About the role

As a Trade and Working Capital Operations Analyst within J.P. Morgan Wealth Management, you will support the execution and management of trade finance products such as import/export bills, letters of credit and open account trading. You will ensure compliance with industry standards and internal policies while contributing to risk management and operational efficiency in a global environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support daily operations for trade finance products, ensuring timely and accurate transaction processing.
• Handle and turnaround transactions within agreed service level agreements.
• Maintain and update Standard Operating Procedures for all processes.
• Identify and implement best practices to drive operational efficiency.
• Participate in new deals and project management calls to facilitate smooth migrations.
• Ensure adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements, including US regulations and OFAC.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver business solutions and transactional expertise.

Required profile

• Graduate degree with 5+ years of experience in Trade Finance Operations.
• Strong knowledge of URC, UCP, URR and ISBP guidelines.
• Subject‑matter expertise in LC issuance, advising, confirmation and document checking.
• Understanding of US regulations and OFAC compliance.
• Preferred: experience with payment messages MT103, MT202, MT101 and CDCS certification.
