Technical Lead – IFS

About the role

Wilhelmsen is seeking an experienced Technical Lead to drive the design, development, and evolution of its IFS Cloud platform. You will be responsible for ensuring the ERP backbone remains reliable, innovative, and aligned with the company’s global growth strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical design, development, and continuous improvement of the IFS Cloud platform.
• Review, approve, and govern technical designs, customizations, extensions, and code quality.
• Establish development standards, documentation practices, and technical governance.
• Mentor developers, consultants, and solution architects.
• Ensure customizations follow upgrade‑safe and sustainable design principles.
• Manage user access, segregation of duties, and security compliance.
• Develop IFS customizations, Aurena pages, projections, reports, and document solutions.
• Support system configuration, enhancements, upgrades, and new functionality implementation.
• Identify optimization, automation, and innovation opportunities.
• Plan, design, and implement integrations between IFS Cloud and enterprise systems such as CRM, maintenance, logistics, finance, and third‑party applications.
