Team Member – Technical Services (Mechanical)

About the role

The Mechanical Technical Services Team Member will support the manufacturing plant by ensuring the reliability and performance of all mechanical equipment. This role focuses on preventive and corrective maintenance of hydraulic, pneumatic, and material handling systems.

Key responsibilities

• Perform mechanical maintenance on hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
• Troubleshoot and maintain material conveyors, bucket elevators, screw feeders, gearboxes, pumps, compressors and blowers.
• Conduct shaft and coupling alignment for rotary equipment and manage conveyor belt jointing processes.
• Analyse hot and cold breakdowns, develop CAPA and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Oversee outsourced mechanical contracts and drive Kaizen projects.
• Ensure 100% compliance with Lock‑Out Tag‑Out procedures and safety standards.
• Execute projects aimed at increasing productivity, reducing costs and improving EHS performance.
• Carry out modification works to improve equipment reliability and manage spare parts.

Required profile

• Proven experience in mechanical maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic and material handling systems.
• Familiarity with lock‑out/tag‑out safety procedures and EHS standards.
• Ability to lead or support Kaizen and continuous improvement initiatives.
