Tax Transformation Consultant – SAP FICO/SD & DRC E‑Invoicing

About the role

Deloitte’s Tax Transformation Consulting practice is looking for a Tax Consultant II to help large organisations modernise their tax functions. You will translate tax and business requirements into technology‑enabled solutions that improve compliance, reporting and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Support delivery of tax technology and transformation projects across industries.
• Gather, document and analyse business, process and system requirements for tax initiatives.
• Assist with configuration, testing, validation and implementation of tax technology solutions.
• Prepare data analyses, reconciliations and reporting outputs to meet project objectives.
• Collaborate with tax, technology and client stakeholders to identify process‑improvement opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science or Economics.
• 2+ years of experience in tax technology, tax operations, tax transformation or tax process support.
• Experience with enterprise systems such as SAP, Oracle or Microsoft Dynamics.

Required skills

• SAP FICO and SAP SD functional knowledge.
• Configuration of SAP DRC and eDocument Framework components.
• Working with SAP Integration Suite, SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), PI/PO or related middleware.
• Mapping ERP data to XML, JSON, UBL or jurisdiction‑specific reporting formats.
