System Administrator

About the role

We are seeking a proactive and detail‑oriented System Administrator to manage, maintain, and optimise our IT infrastructure. The role ensures stability, security, and efficient operation of servers, networks and enterprise systems across on‑premise and cloud environments.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure and maintain servers, operating systems and applications.
• Monitor system performance to guarantee high availability and reliability.
• Perform regular updates, patches and backups.
• Manage user accounts, permissions and access controls.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software and network issues.
• Implement and maintain security measures to protect systems and data.
• Automate routine tasks using scripting tools.
• Maintain system documentation and standard operating procedures.
• Collaborate with IT teams on infrastructure projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field.
• Strong experience with Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Hands‑on experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper‑V.
• Familiarity with networking fundamentals and backup/recovery tools.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., RHCE, MCSA) are a plus.
