System Administrator Level 2 – US Shift Support Engineer

About the role

SystemsPlus is seeking a Level 2 System Administrator to provide Windows Server and infrastructure support on a US‑based shift. The role involves hands‑on administration, monitoring, and troubleshooting for a managed‑services environment serving US customers.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine Windows Server patching, security updates, and general maintenance.
• Monitor server health, performance, disk utilization, services and Windows event logs.
• Troubleshoot OS, service, connectivity and performance issues, and escalate complex cases to L3.
• Administer Active Directory – manage user/computer accounts, groups, permissions and resolve account lockouts.
• Monitor backup jobs, identify failures and ensure successful completion.
• Provide basic LAN/Wi‑Fi and firewall support, including TCP/IP, DNS and DHCP troubleshooting.
• Handle infrastructure incidents and service requests within SLA timelines and communicate status to US‑based customers.

Required profile

• 4–6 years of experience in Windows Server administration and infrastructure support.
• Experience working on US shift schedules and supporting US customers.
• Background in a managed‑services environment and familiarity with ITIL/service‑management processes.
