Windows Administrator – 4+ Years Experience

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Windows Administrator with at least four years of hands‑on experience managing enterprise‑scale Windows Server environments. The role involves maintaining server health, security, and performance across a large infrastructure while supporting virtualization and cloud operations.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, administer and maintain Windows Server 2008/2012/2016/2019.
• Perform patch management using WSUS, SCCM, IBM BigFix or ManageEngine.
• Implement server hardening, security best practices and antivirus management.
• Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, ADFS, replication and backup services.
• Administer File, Print, IIS and WDS servers.
• Monitor server health with SCOM, Nagios, Zabbix or ManageEngine.
• Manage Hyper‑V environments – VM provisioning, clustering, replication, storage migration and performance tuning.
• Configure and troubleshoot Windows Clustering, NLB and NIC teaming.
• Support migration and upgrade projects for Windows Server and Hyper‑V.
• Handle incident, change and problem management while ensuring SLA compliance.

Required profile

• 4+ years of Windows Server administration experience in an enterprise setting (1,000+ servers).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or related field (preferred).
• Relevant certifications such as MCSA, MCSE, MCP, ITIL or Microsoft Azure (preferred).
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and communication abilities.
