Specialty Cook – Indian & International Cuisine

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Specialty Cook to prepare a wide range of Indian and international dishes for our household in Gurgaon and the Rann of Kutch. The role includes full kitchen management, meal planning, and ensuring food safety while providing high‑quality meals for daily consumption and special events.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and serve breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks and beverages according to a rotating schedule.
• Cook authentic regional Indian dishes (North, South, Punjabi, Gujarati, Rajasthani) and multi‑cuisine meals (Continental, Chinese, Italian, Mexican, Thai).
• Design balanced weekly menus, catering to specific dietary needs such as diabetic, low‑oil, low‑salt, high‑protein, and vegetarian.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness, hygiene, and organization; manage storage of food, groceries and pantry items.
• Prepare grocery and inventory lists, monitor stock levels and minimize waste.
• Follow strict food safety and hygiene standards, using fresh, high‑quality ingredients.
• Introduce new recipes, adapt menus to preferences, and support meal preparation for events and visiting guests.

Required profile

• 3–10 years of experience as a Home Cook, Private Chef or similar role.
• Experience serving senior executives, expatriate families or premium households is a plus.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Professional, trustworthy, adaptable and respectful of privacy.

Required skills

• Expertise in Indian cuisine.
• Multi‑cuisine cooking (Continental, Chinese, Italian, Mexican, Thai).
• Meal planning and menu development.
• Food safety and kitchen hygiene practices.
• Inventory and grocery management.
