Senior Mechanical Maintenance Engineer – Final Assembly

About the role
The Senior Mechanical Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for ensuring safe and reliable operation of mechanical equipment in the final assembly line at Bosch's Naganathapura plant. The role focuses on breakdown and preventive maintenance of various stations, managing key performance indicators and optimizing spare parts usage.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain safety standards in the assigned area.
- Perform breakdown and preventive maintenance on mechanical stations, dispensing systems, pin insertion, pick‑and‑place machines, conveyors, pressing equipment and other SPMs.
- Monitor and improve KPIs such as Technical Availability, MTTR, MTBF and IDC.
- Manage spare parts inventory and drive cost‑optimization initiatives.
Required profile
- Diploma in Mechatronics or BE in Mechanical, Electrical/Electronics or E&C.
- 8‑10 years of maintenance experience in electronics manufacturing (for diploma holders) or 3‑4 years for BE graduates.
