Manager – Electrical Engineering

About the role

The company is seeking a Manager for Electrical Engineering to lead design and execution of wind farm projects in Hyderabad. The role involves technical leadership, compliance oversight, and cost‑feasibility analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage project designs, coordinate consultants, review equipment test reports and represent the engineering team in meetings.
• Conduct load flow, short‑circuit and power system studies for wind farms and ensure compliance with Grid Codes, IEC, IEEE, CEA and utility regulations.
• Support cost estimation, financial modelling and feasibility analysis for wind energy projects.

Required profile

• B.E./M.E. in Electrical Engineering with 8–10 years experience in wind‑farm electrical design, substations and EHV transmission lines (up to 400 kV).
• Strong leadership, analytical, communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ETAP, PSCAD and AutoCAD.
• In‑depth knowledge of IEC, IEEE, CEA standards and HV/MV/EHV electrical systems.
• Experience in load flow analysis, short‑circuit studies and power system studies for renewable energy projects.
