Senior Executive Assistant to Head of Development Centre

About the role

Sun Pharma is looking for a Senior Executive Assistant to support the Head of Development Centre of Excellence in Gurgaon. The role ensures smooth administrative operations, enabling the team to focus on strategic initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Organise and schedule appointments, meetings and travel arrangements.
• Maintain contact lists of key stakeholders and manage correspondence (memos, letters, faxes).
• Prepare regular reports and develop both computer‑based and manual filing systems.
• Order office supplies, support onboarding of new employees and handle visitor reception.
• Book travel, submit and reconcile expense reports.
• Prepare and monitor invoices in SAP, ensure vendor payments and assist with department budgeting.
• Take accurate minutes, coordinate office procedures and respond to email, telephone or face‑to‑face inquiries.
• Develop and update administrative systems, resolve administrative issues and maintain up‑to‑date departmental records.

Required profile

• At least 5 years of proven experience as an administrative or executive assistant.
• Graduate in any discipline; Master’s degree preferred.
• Strong organisational, planning and time‑management abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including interaction with international colleagues.
• Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.

Required skills

• Proficiency in SAP (desirable).
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
