Senior Customer Custodian – Quality Management (Deputy Manager)

About the role

Bosch Group is seeking a Senior Customer Custodian to lead quality management for its PS‑IN product portfolio in India. Reporting as Deputy Manager, you will act as the primary liaison with key customers, ensuring product quality and driving continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Manage assigned customers by communicating, engaging and resolving quality‑related issues for traded and manufactured products.
• Conduct system‑level investigations to identify root causes of 0‑km and field issues and report findings to customer teams.
• Monitor customer perception, define corrective actions and drive initiatives to enhance satisfaction.
• Perform PHA/Line walks for new customer projects and implement approved requirements in plant quality processes.
• Lead innovation projects with external suppliers and ensure implementation at customer sites.
• Collaborate across functions on special projects to reduce complaints and liquidate inventories.
• Ensure readiness for internal quality audits, address escalations and resolve non‑compliance cases.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Automobile or Mechatronics engineering.
• 5‑7 years of experience in automotive quality, manufacturing or related fields.
• Strong knowledge of IC engines, fuel injection systems and exhaust gas treatment technologies.
• Proven ability to manage customer requirements and drive quality improvements.
