Senior Architect

About the role

Surbanajurong is seeking a Senior Architect to lead the design of large‑scale, complex projects. You will shape concepts, develop master plans and guide projects from schematic through detailed design, ensuring high‑quality outcomes that meet client expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the conceptual design process and formulate design strategies for mixed‑use, institutional, commercial, hospitality, urban and infrastructure projects.
• Prepare, review and oversee schematic design packages.
• Present design concepts to clients and key stakeholders.
• Guide internal design teams, ensuring design quality and consistency.
• Coordinate with structural, MEP and specialist consultants.
• Ensure designs comply with client requirements, design intent and statutory norms.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of professional experience in a leading architectural design firm.
• Proven ability to independently manage projects from concept to detailed design.
• Strong design sensibility with innovative and practical problem‑solving skills.
• Experience managing client interactions, presentations and multidisciplinary coordination.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Revit.
• Proficiency in SketchUp.
• Adobe Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere Pro).
• Lumion or Enscape.
• Rhino and Grasshopper.
