Water & Drainage Engineer

About the role

As a Water & Drainage Engineer at AFRY you will work on diverse and challenging projects that make a real impact. Through the Design Center you will collaborate with a highly skilled team in Sweden, using cutting‑edge technology to deliver innovative solutions for our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Design water and drainage systems for infrastructure projects.
• Calculate quantities and produce detailed drawings.
• Dimension and size pipes according to project specifications.
• Coordinate and drive issues to resolution through proactive communication with other engineers.
• Ensure all deliverables are completed on schedule or in a timely manner.

Required profile

• Positive mindset with a problem‑solving approach.
• Cultural awareness, conscientiousness, openness and excellent communication skills.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 3–6 years of relevant experience in water and drainage design for infrastructure projects.
• Good written and verbal English proficiency.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Civil 3D, and solid knowledge of MS Office applications.
