Sales Executive – North East Region

About the role

Otis, the world‑leading elevator and escalator manufacturer, is looking for a Sales Executive for the North‑East region based in Delhi. The role focuses on generating enquiries, managing contracts and supporting sales and marketing activities to achieve sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Generate enquiries and finalize orders, manage contracts.
• Support sales and marketing functions, forecast and set targets.
• Meet customers, architects, consultants to assess requirements and expand the customer database.
• Develop product strategy for the assigned territory based on market trends.
• Maintain relationships with key contacts in major customer organisations and keep them informed of product developments.
• Conduct market surveys, monitor competitors and generate new inquiries.
• Prepare and submit model elevator proposals, tender documents and attend pre‑bid, tender opening and negotiation meetings.
• Follow up on proposals and tenders, negotiate and finalize orders, process received orders.
• Achieve at least 90 % of the annual target and drive Gen2 bookings.
• Coordinate SIP meetings, ensure customer visits and liaison with the Construction Department for effective contract management.
• Address customer complaints promptly and promote safety awareness among customers.

Required profile

• Proven experience in sales, contract management and customer handling within the elevator, construction or related sectors.
• Ability to meet sales targets and manage a pipeline of enquiries and tenders.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with customers, architects and consultants.
• Familiarity with market surveys, competitor analysis and product strategy development.
• Capability to coordinate meetings, tender processes and post‑sale follow‑up.
