Sales Attendant

About the role

Swathy Trading Corporation Pvt Ltd is seeking a full‑time Sales Attendant to join its retail team in Kochi. You will be the first point of contact for customers, helping them find the right products and ensuring a pleasant shopping experience.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers, understand their needs and guide them to suitable products.
• Maintain product displays, restock shelves and monitor inventory levels.
• Keep the sales area clean, organized and safe.
• Process sales transactions, handle cash and digital payments accurately, and issue receipts.
• Answer customer queries, support promotional activities and coordinate with store and warehouse teams.
• Follow company policies, safety standards and store procedures.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service and interpersonal skills with clear, courteous communication.
• Basic sales and retail operations knowledge, including product presentation and upselling.
• Good math and cash‑handling accuracy.
• Organizational and time‑management abilities to manage stock and displays.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods, move products safely and maintain cleanliness.
• High school diploma or equivalent; willingness to learn and follow instructions.
• Reliability, punctuality and a professional attitude; flexible to work weekends and holidays.
