Retail Associate – In‑Store Sales & Customer Service

About the role

The Retail Associate will support the store in achieving sales and profit targets by delivering excellent customer service, promoting the adidas brand, and ensuring smooth store operations.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor store sales and KPI targets, take ownership and use resources to meet or exceed them.
• Deliver brand‑defined customer service standards.
• Act as a Brand Ambassador, embodying adidas attitude and values.
• Apply seasonal product knowledge during sales interactions.
• Communicate product features, benefits and unique selling points to customers.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Maintain visual merchandising and in‑store communication standards.
• Process merchandise deliveries promptly and replenish fixtures.
• Execute cash register transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Minimize loss on the sales floor and stockroom.
• Perform store operations safely and efficiently.
• Collaborate respectfully with team members.
• Complete required training and apply learning on the job.
• Seek coaching and continuous improvement opportunities.

Required profile

• High school diploma (mandatory).
• At least 6 months experience in a sports or fashion retail environment, customer‑focused.
• Basic numeracy, literacy and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced retail setting.
