Quality Manager

About the role

The Quality Manager leads the execution and deployment of the Strategic Quality Plan in partnership with plant leadership. This senior position provides total quality leadership across customers, suppliers, partners and internal manufacturing cells, driving continuous improvement and ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulations and customer requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of the Strategic Quality Plan and oversee total quality leadership initiatives.
• Manage the Quality Assurance strategy to guarantee product flow meets industry, regulatory and customer standards.
• Act as the primary quality interface for customers and suppliers, handling complaints, root‑cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Support Supply Chain Management by collecting and analyzing supplier quality data and managing DMR activities.
• Develop, implement and continuously improve Quality Management Systems, supporting new product and process launches.
• Plan and conduct internal quality audits and serve as host for customer and regulatory audits.
• Analyze quality metrics, perform managerial reviews and create action plans to close performance gaps.
• Design and deliver quality‑focused training programs.
• Participate in product development, ensuring customer expectations, reliability analysis and test program evaluation are addressed.
• Lead improvement teams to develop process capability studies, control plans and address out‑of‑control conditions.
• Oversee the creation and audit of complex inspection and test plans, standards and work instructions.
• Coordinate corporate initiatives to propagate best practices across the organization.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• 15‑18 years of industrial/manufacturing experience, including at least 10 years in aerospace quality.
• Extensive knowledge of machining, assembly, testing operations, GD&T, gauging, SPC, APQP, RCCA and related inspection techniques.
• Experience with ISO 9001, AS9100 and NADCAP quality assurance systems.
• Preferred certifications: ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) and Six Sigma Black Belt.
