Purchase Manager – Electrical & Civil (Miyapur)

About the role

The company is seeking an experienced Purchase Manager to lead the procurement of electrical and civil materials, equipment, and services for construction, infrastructure, and industrial projects. You will act as the key liaison between suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely, cost‑effective delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end procurement of electrical and civil items for project‑based requirements.
• Obtain, compare, and evaluate supplier quotations; prepare comparative statements.
• Identify, assess, and develop reliable vendors and suppliers.
• Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, warranties, and other commercial conditions.
• Issue purchase orders and ensure compliance with approved specifications.
• Coordinate with project, engineering, stores, and accounts teams for procurement needs.
• Monitor material availability, quality, delivery schedules, and overall procurement costs.
• Maintain accurate purchase records, vendor documents, quotations, and purchase orders.
• Support cost‑control initiatives and identify opportunities for better pricing and efficiency.

Required profile

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Additional qualification in Purchase, Procurement, or Supply Chain Management is a plus.
• 5–10+ years of experience in electrical procurement/purchase.
• Strong knowledge of electrical materials, brands, specifications, and market pricing.
• Excellent vendor management and negotiation abilities.
• Good communication, coordination, analytical, and decision‑making skills.
