About the role
The Stringing Supervisor will lead stringing operations for high‑voltage transmission lines ranging from 132kV to 765kV, ensuring safe and efficient execution on project sites.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise stringing, tensioning and sagging activities for 132kV‑765kV lines.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and HSE standards throughout all stringing work.
- Interpret stringing plans, engineering drawings and sag charts for accurate execution.
- Coordinate with foundation, erection and quality teams to align schedules.
- Inspect tools, equipment (e.g., TSE machines, sag bridges) and materials before use.
- Monitor progress, resolve site‑level issues and prevent delays or rework.
- Maintain daily progress reports and document all stringing activities.
- Liaise with subcontractors and vendors for manpower, equipment and material readiness.
- Support audits and client inspections by ensuring quality and safety compliance.
