Project Transmission Line Manager (Site) – High Voltage

About the role

The Project Transmission Line Manager (Site) is responsible for executing assigned segments of high‑voltage (765/400 kV) transmission line projects, ensuring productivity, timeline adherence, budget control and quality standards while maintaining a zero‑harm safety culture.

Key responsibilities

• Drive execution of assigned high‑voltage transmission line segments, planning and monitoring foundation, erection and stringing activities.
• Review survey data and field conditions to ensure correct tower placement, routing, and crossing points (national highways, railways).
• Prepare and maintain L2 schedules, forecasting weekly and monthly workforce and material requirements.
• Produce daily and monthly MIS reports for management review.
• Implement Field Quality Plans and apply IS Codes/CBIP manuals, certifying material and work quality.
• Enforce safety and regulatory compliance on site, adhering to zero‑harm principles.
• Coordinate with stakeholders, provide administrative support and foster a collaborative team environment.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing high‑voltage transmission line projects.
• Strong knowledge of safety, quality and compliance standards in power infrastructure.
• Ability to plan, schedule and monitor large‑scale construction activities.
• Effective communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
