Procurement Specialist – Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Management

About the role

Rolls‑Royce is building a pipeline of procurement professionals to support its global aerospace and defence operations. Based in Bangalore, you will work on strategic and operational procurement initiatives that drive value, mitigate risk, and foster innovation across the supply chain.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver value through best‑in‑class supplier performance.
• Collaborate effectively with internal departments and cross‑functional teams.
• Own dynamic commercial negotiations and contract execution.
• Nurture meaningful supplier relationships and identify improvement opportunities.
• Develop and implement global category strategies aligned with business objectives.

Required profile

• Experience in category strategy development and implementation.
• Expertise in strategic sourcing, including full source‑to‑contract lifecycle.
• Proven negotiation skills for complex, high‑value contracts.
• Track record in supplier relationship management and performance improvement.
• Knowledge of contract and risk management, ensuring compliance and risk mitigation.
• Ability to produce procurement analytics, dashboards, KPI reporting, and spend analysis.
• Experience with stakeholder engagement in a global matrix environment.
• Familiarity with aerospace & defence procurement governance and regulations.
