Piping Designer (Various Levels) – Hyderabad

About the role

Worley is seeking Piping Designers at multiple seniority levels to join its Hyderabad team. You will work on on‑shore upstream and downstream oil & gas and petrochemical projects, developing equipment layouts, piping plans and 2D/3D models while expanding your technical expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the development of equipment layouts, plot plans and piping layouts.
• Prepare and update 2D drawings and 3D models using design tools such as S3D, AVEVA E3D/PDMS.
• Support senior designers with S3D/E3D modelling, drawing extraction and back‑drafting activities.
• Perform basic ISO drafting, checking and pipe routing as per project inputs.
• Support preparation of Material Take‑Off (MTO) and coordinate design inputs with engineering teams.
• Ensure compliance with project standards, specifications, quality norms and safety requirements.
• Assist in reviewing vendor drawings under supervision.

Required profile

• Diploma or ITI in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in piping design, or fresh graduates with training in S3D/E3D/PDMS.
• Good learning attitude, effective communication and teamwork skills.
