Order-to-Cash Trainer / Subject Matter Expert (SME)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Order-to-Cash Trainer and Subject Matter Expert to lead knowledge transfer and capability building for our Order-to-Cash team in India. The role will receive process handovers, validate knowledge and deliver structured training to ensure a smooth transition.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary contact for process transition, designing and delivering classroom, virtual and on-the-job training for the receiving entity.
• Translate Order-to-Cash processes, including accounts receivable, dispute and collection, into clear learning content and documentation.
• Conduct knowledge assessments, readiness checks and provide hyper-care support to confirm independent performance.
• Collaborate with global teams and sending locations to manage handovers, identify process variations and embed controls.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field.
• 8-10 years of experience in Order-to-Cash, accounts receivable, billing, credit management or shared-services environment.
• Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder-management skills.

Required skills

• Hands-on experience with SAP ERP (ECC and/or S/4HANA) covering Order-to-Cash, Sales & Distribution and related modules.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with reporting tools and creation of process maps, user guides and job aids.
