On-site HSE Officer – Industrial Safety (India)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced HSE Officer to lead daily safety operations on our on‑site construction and manufacturing projects across India. The role focuses on risk reduction, regulatory compliance and fostering a safety‑first culture.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and enforce site HSE policies, procedures and Permit‑to‑Work systems.
• Conduct Job Hazard Analyses, HIRA and routine safety audits; close non‑conformances and track corrective actions.
• Lead incident and near‑miss investigations, perform root‑cause analysis and develop corrective action plans.
• Deliver toolbox talks, safety inductions and on‑the‑job coaching to promote safe behaviours and PPE compliance.
• Coordinate emergency response drills, first‑aid readiness and fire‑safety preparedness with contractors and site teams.
• Maintain HSE records, prepare compliance reports for management and support third‑party audits.

Required profile

• Diploma/degree in Safety, Industrial/Mechanical/Civil Engineering or related field (preferred).
• Proven hands‑on experience on‑site in construction, manufacturing or heavy industry.
• Track record of implementing safety systems and reducing incident rates.
• Valid first‑aid or onsite medical responder certification is an advantage.
