Logistics Engineer – Vendor Coordination & SAP

About the role

We are looking for a Logistics Engineer / Executive to manage end‑to‑end shipment coordination for Bosch Rexroth India. The role involves working closely with vendors, logistics service providers (LSPs) and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of materials across air and sea modes.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with vendors and LSPs for movement of shipments via air or sea based on demand.
• Interact with clearing agents to resolve technical queries, product information and checklist approvals.
• Ensure materials arrive within defined transit lead times and maintain a detailed shipment tracking file.
• Conduct monthly meetings with LSP teams to monitor and optimise transit times.
• Collaborate with planning teams to prioritise shipments and align with production requirements.
• Use SAP MM and SD modules for order processing and maintain related documentation.
• Follow up with warehouse for goods receipt, damage reporting and exception handling.
• Work with cross‑functional teams to address backlog shipments and manage escalations proactively.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience in logistics coordination and shipment tracking.
• Familiarity with SAP MM and SAP SD modules.
• Proactive attitude with the ability to follow up across multiple functions.
• Strong communication skills for interaction with vendors, clearing agents and internal stakeholders.
