Lead Analyst – Corporate Research & Analysis

About the role

Join ANZ's Research & Analysis team supporting the India Corporate business. You will work closely with relationship managers and credit teams to deliver high‑quality credit analysis and risk management for a diverse portfolio of mid‑market enterprise clients.

Key responsibilities

• Perform detailed credit and financial analysis for corporate clients, preparing credit submissions, annual reviews and risk assessments.
• Drive end‑to‑end credit processes including risk grading, approval, documentation review and portfolio monitoring.
• Manage a large, diverse portfolio while ensuring timely execution of risk and credit deliverables and monitoring portfolio quality against regulatory and internal standards.
• Partner with Relationship Managers, Credit teams, Legal and other support functions on transaction and risk‑related matters.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant (CA), MBA Finance, or a Master's in Economics (or equivalent).
• 3‑5 years of experience in corporate banking, credit risk, portfolio management, commercial banking or financial analysis.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, credit fundamentals and risk assessment frameworks.
• Excellent report writing and stakeholder management skills.
