About the role
The L2 Linux Administrator will support the IT service desk by triaging priority incidents, documenting actions, and ensuring timely resolution of software, hardware, and network requests. The role focuses on maintaining SLA compliance and assisting with change request creation.
Key responsibilities
- Perform initial triage of P3 priority incident tickets, document actions, and follow defined escalation procedures.
- Track and assist in the resolution of software, hardware, and network service requests, ensuring accurate logging and timely completion.
- Monitor SLA timelines for the entire lifecycle of priority tickets and escalate potential breaches.
- Assist in creating change requests based on incident types and resolutions.
Required profile
- 1‑3 years of experience in Linux system administration.
- Familiarity with incident ticketing processes and SLA management.
- Ability to work collaboratively with higher‑level support teams.
