Junior Electrical Engineer

About the role

SMEC is seeking a Junior Electrical Engineer to join a Power and Energy project in Hyderabad, Pakistan. The role focuses on site supervision, installation, testing, and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment while supporting senior engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in supervising and executing electrical works on site.
• Support installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems and equipment.
• Coordinate with senior engineers and contractors to ensure smooth workflow.
• Monitor daily site activities and prepare progress reports.
• Ensure electrical works comply with project specifications and standards.
• Identify and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Maintain documentation of work activities and material usage.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 0–3 years of relevant experience in the power and energy sector (fresh graduates may apply).
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems, drawings, and testing procedures.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
