Housekeeping Attendant

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented, customer‑focused Housekeeping Attendant to join our hotel in Gurugram, India. You will help maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and organization across guest rooms and public areas, contributing directly to guest satisfaction and the overall reputation of our property.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and maintain guest rooms and common areas according to established standards.
• Organise floor trolleys and ensure cleaning supplies are stocked and readily available.
• Respond promptly to guest requests for extra bedding, towels, and amenities.
• Collect and dispose of used plates, glasses, and utensils from rooms.
• Complete room status, textile, and amenity reports accurately.
• Report maintenance issues, repairs, or discrepancies to the Housekeeping Office and supervisors.
• Handle lost‑and‑found items according to facility procedures.
• Maintain floor offices and amenity stations in a clean, organized manner.
• Inspect linens and materials for quality and identify damaged items for laundry processing.
• Vacuum, mop, and dust corridors, staircases, guest areas, and service lift zones.
• Follow security protocols and emergency response procedures.
• Participate in training and professional development sessions.

Required profile

• High school diploma, primary school certificate, or vocational training diploma (minimum requirement).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer‑service mindset.
• Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks and lift moderate loads.

Required skills

• Operation of cleaning equipment such as vacuums, mops, and floor scrubbers.
• Inventory management of cleaning supplies and amenities.
