About the role

The Head of Project Planning & Control will lead the development and execution of strategic planning frameworks across multiple large‑scale projects. This senior position ensures that project schedules, budgets, and quality standards align with organisational goals while mitigating risks.

Key responsibilities

• Lead strategic planning and control for large projects, providing governance and oversight to the project management function.
• Develop and maintain integrated schedules using Primavera and Microsoft Project, coordinating engineering, procurement, and construction phases.
• Oversee budgeting, resource allocation, cost control, and financial performance against CAPEX targets.
• Manage change requests, monitor critical paths, and implement corrective actions to keep projects on time and within budget.
• Establish and enforce SOPs for the Project Planning & Control department, integrating multiple EPC schedules.
• Foster cross‑functional collaboration with techno‑commercial, design, contractor, finance, and operations teams.
• Engage external stakeholders, including statutory authorities, to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Develop and report key performance indicators, providing timely updates to senior leadership.
