Financial Planning Analyst (FP&A)

About the role

As a Financial Planning Analyst at CureMeAbroad you will partner with the founding team and senior leadership to build the financial foundation required for rapid scaling. The role combines ownership of MIS, forecasting, budgeting, modelling and reporting, turning data into actionable insights in a fast‑growing startup environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own monthly MIS and management reporting.
• Build financial models, budgets, forecasts and projections covering revenue, costs, cash flow and profitability.
• Analyse actuals versus budget/forecast, identify variances and explain key business drivers.
• Track revenue, margins, unit economics, customer acquisition costs, cash flow and profitability.
• Create dashboards and performance reports for senior management.
• Support business planning, strategic decisions and annual budgeting.
• Apply investment‑banking and corporate‑finance style modelling and analysis.
• Continuously improve reporting, modelling and analytical processes.

Required profile

• 1–4 years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, investment banking, startup finance or related fields.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, MIS and variance analysis.
• Ability to work independently, identify trends and communicate insights to founders and senior stakeholders.
• Finance‑first mindset with a degree or certification such as CFA, MBA (Finance), CA or equivalent.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel / Google Sheets.
• Financial modelling.
