Finacle Product Engineer - CMS & API Integration (Banking)

About the role

Synechron is looking for a seasoned Finacle Product Engineer to lead the design, customization, integration and support of Finacle-based banking solutions. The role combines domain expertise in Finacle with hands-on scripting, API development and stakeholder collaboration, ensuring quality, compliance and end-to-end enterprise capabilities in a regulated banking environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead customization, integration and ongoing support of Finacle solutions across business units
• Design technical specifications, architecture diagrams and implementation plans for new features
• Work with business analysts, developers, QA and operations to deliver end-to-end solutions
• Ensure code quality, maintainability and adherence to development standards
• Take part in code and design reviews, mentor junior engineers and promote best practices
• Manage vendor interactions, project timelines and risk mitigation
• Keep up with Finacle releases, banking technology trends and regulatory changes
• Support data governance, security controls and audit readiness, and document configurations and integration points

Required profile

• 7-12 years of experience with Finacle in architecture, customization or integration roles
• Proven track record delivering Finacle projects in a banking context
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams across multiple locations
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field

Required skills

• Finacle Core Banking, Finacle scripting and Finacle customization and integration (APIs, Finacle Integrator)
• REST APIs and SQL with data modeling, validation and ETL considerations
• Agile/Scrum, Jira/Confluence and Git
• Preferred: Finacle certification, banking compliance and audit readiness, CI/CD tools, cloud deployments (AWS/Azure/GCP), advanced testing approaches
