About the role
The DCS Engineer will operate and monitor the Distributed Control System for a power plant, ensuring safe and efficient generation of electricity. The role involves controlling high‑pressure boilers, turbines and auxiliary equipment from the central control room.
Key responsibilities
- Continuously operate and monitor DCS for boiler, turbine and plant processes.
- Troubleshoot alarms and faults using SCADA/HMI interfaces.
- Execute safe start‑up and shutdown sequences.
- Optimize process parameters for efficiency and emissions.
- Maintain safety interlocks and ensure compliance with plant safety standards.
Required profile
- 3 to 8 years of experience in DCS operation within a power plant.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Knowledge of CFBC boiler DCS preferred.
