Civil 3D / MicroStation / OpenRoads Designer – Land Development

About the role

We are looking for a Civil 3D / MicroStation / OpenRoads Designer to join our land development team in Hyderabad. The role involves creating detailed civil construction drawings, planning stormwater systems and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver compliant engineering solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare land development and site civil construction drawings, including roads, utilities, grading, drainage and erosion control.
• Assist in zoning, preliminary and concept land development plans.
• Develop site grading, stormwater management and safety designs under senior guidance.
• Draft soil erosion and sediment control plans such as BMPs, swales and spillways.
• Prepare water, sewer and utility plans in accordance with U.S. local agency requirements.
• Research standards and codes, and respond to agency review comments.
• Collaborate with senior engineers, project managers and multidisciplinary teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (U.S. education preferred).
• 1–5 years of experience in civil land planning and engineering.
• Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented and strong organizational abilities.
• Experience with U.S. or Maryland land development projects is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D.
• Proficiency in Bentley MicroStation.
• Proficiency in Bentley OpenRoads.
