Chartered Accountant – Power Plant (Nagpur)

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Chartered Accountant to manage financial reporting, taxation, compliance and internal audit for our power plant operations in Nagpur.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, balance sheets and cash flow statements.
• Manage direct and indirect tax filings, tax planning and statutory compliance.
• Conduct internal and external audits, verify financial records and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist in budgeting, financial forecasting and cost‑control strategies.
• Provide financial analysis, risk evaluation and advisory support for strategic decisions.
• Supervise junior accountants, bookkeepers and the finance team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting or Finance with a valid CA/CPA designation.
• 3‑5 years of post‑qualification or articleship experience in corporate accounting or public practice.
• Strong knowledge of tax regulations, GAAP/IFRS and corporate laws.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle or Tally.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
