Category Manager – Private Brands (Retail Vendor Manager II)

About the role

We are looking for a passionate Category Manager to own the development of Amazon Private Brands in India. You will drive the end‑to‑end lifecycle of ASINs, from supplier sourcing to product launch, ensuring high quality and a compelling customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic plans to expand product selection by identifying, evaluating, and onboarding suppliers while negotiating terms and pricing.
• Take end‑to‑end ownership of the ASIN lifecycle, overseeing supplier sourcing, quality improvements, and performance monitoring.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to create go‑to‑market strategies that boost product visibility, sales, and brand growth.
• Analyze market trends, competitor pricing, and customer feedback to inform decisions and identify cost‑saving opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders, communicating requirements, priorities, and performance metrics.

Required profile

• Proven experience in category, vendor, or product management within e‑commerce or retail.
• Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
• Ability to analyze data, market trends, and customer feedback to drive decisions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across cross‑functional teams.
