CAD Engineer (Level 3) – Mechanical Design

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Designer with a strong R&D background to join our product development team. The role focuses on designing, testing, and refining mechanical components and systems while driving innovation through research‑driven insights.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and design mechanical components, systems, and technical specifications.
• Manage the Stage Gate process to ensure projects progress smoothly from concept to completion.
• Create 3D models, assemblies, and detailed drawings using SolidWorks.
• Maintain traceability and version control with SolidWorks PDM.
• Generate Bills of Materials and handle Engineering Change Orders.
• Perform structural, thermal, and fatigue analyses using FEA tools.
• Integrate welding standards (AWS, ISO) into design and drafting.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in mechanical design and product development.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• SolidWorks (part modeling, assembly, drafting)
• SolidWorks PDM for data management
• Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
• Finite Element Analysis (FEA) software
• Knowledge of welding standards such as AWS and ISO
