Business Development Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a driven Business Development Specialist to expand our client base in the influencer and digital marketing space. The role focuses on identifying, engaging and converting B2B prospects into long‑term partners.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and generate new B2B opportunities through LinkedIn, email, calls, referrals and other channels.
• Research brands and businesses that could benefit from influencer and digital marketing services.
• Reach out to prospects, understand their needs and propose suitable marketing solutions.
• Conduct sales pitches, presentations and client meetings.
• Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to conversion and onboarding.
• Maintain an up‑to‑date sales pipeline and follow up consistently with leads.
• Prepare proposals and coordinate with internal teams for client onboarding.
• Achieve monthly and quarterly business development targets.
• Track industry trends, competitors and emerging business opportunities.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of experience in Business Development, B2B Sales, Lead Generation or Client Acquisition.
• Experience in an influencer marketing or digital marketing agency is preferred.
• Strong communication, negotiation and presentation abilities.
• Ability to work towards sales targets and manage multiple prospects.
• Based in Bengaluru (preferred).

Required skills

• Good knowledge of LinkedIn, email outreach and other lead‑generation methods.
• Understanding of digital marketing and influencer marketing services.
