Banquet Executive

About the role

The Hoxton Bengaluru City is opening its first neighbourhood hotel in Asia in the city centre, with 149 bedrooms, an all-day dining restaurant and bar, a rooftop pool and bar, large function rooms and an events concept called The Apartment. It is looking for an experienced Banquet Executive to support the Banquet Manager in delivering seamless meetings, conferences, weddings and social events.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Banquet Manager in delivering seamless meetings, conferences, weddings and social events.
• Coordinate banquet operations during your shift, ensuring exceptional service and smooth event execution.
• Ensure all function rooms are set up to specification and kept to the highest presentation standards.
• Lead and support the banquet team, creating a positive, guest-focused environment.
• Work closely with the Kitchen, Events and Stewarding teams for flawless event delivery.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and resolve operational issues professionally.
• Monitor departmental costs, equipment and supplies while keeping operations efficient.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene and health and safety standards.
• Support the training and development of team members.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Banquet Executive, Banquet Supervisor or in a similar Food & Beverage operations role within a hotel.
• Strong knowledge of banquet service standards, event operations and function room set-up.
• Passion for hospitality and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
