F&B Controls Executive

About the role

The Hoxton Bengaluru City is opening its first neighbourhood hotel in Asia in the city centre, with 149 bedrooms, an all-day dining restaurant and bar, a rooftop pool and bar, function rooms and an events space. It is looking for an F&B Controls Executive to monitor and control food and beverage costs.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and control F&B costs by reviewing daily purchases, issues, transfers and stock movements.
• Carry out regular inventory counts of food, beverages and operating equipment, ensuring accurate stock reconciliation and reporting.
• Verify recipes, menu pricing and portion standards against approved cost percentages.
• Review daily revenue, voids, discounts, complimentary items and wastage reports, investigate variances and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly F&B control reports covering food cost, beverage cost and inventory analysis.
• Work with Culinary, F&B, Purchasing, Receiving and Finance teams to strengthen cost controls and efficiency.
• Run spot checks and audits on stores, bars, restaurants and banquet operations.
• Support month-end inventory valuation, financial closing and audit processes.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities while keeping quality, service standards and guest satisfaction.

Required profile

• Previous experience as an F&B Controls Executive, Cost Controller, F&B Cost Analyst or Finance Executive in a hotel or hospitality setting.
• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Hospitality Management or a related field; prior experience with hotel cost control systems is an advantage.
• Detail-oriented, proactive and organised, able to collaborate with operational teams to improve performance and profitability.

Required skills

• Food and beverage cost control, inventory management, recipe costing and stock reconciliation.
• Hotel PMS, POS systems, inventory management software and Microsoft Excel.
