Attorney II – Legal Support

About the role

Dun & Bradstreet is seeking an experienced Attorney II to join its Legal Support function in Mumbai. The role involves drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex commercial agreements while ensuring compliance with evolving legal and regulatory frameworks.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts for diverse stakeholders, maintaining accuracy and organization in a fast‑paced environment.
• Update contractual templates to reflect new laws, regulations, and global requirements.
• Manage and improve the contract management system and drive process‑enhancement initiatives.
• Collaborate with the global compliance and ethics team to support readiness for new legislation and promote a strong compliance culture across India.
• Identify corporate risks, develop mitigation measures, and provide pragmatic legal guidance on commercial, corporate, IP, HR, and governance matters.
• Negotiate agreements that protect intellectual property and align with risk thresholds.
• Deliver training and awareness programs to foster collaboration and effective teamwork.

Required profile

• LL.B. or LL.M. degree, preferably with a recognized privacy certification.
• 7–9 years of in‑house legal experience handling commercial contracts, employment issues, and data‑privacy compliance.
• Strong negotiation, strategic planning, and business‑enabling capabilities.
• Ability to adapt to changing business and legal landscapes.
