Associate Manager – Current Account Acquisition

About the role

The Associate Manager – Current Account Acquisition will work directly with customers to drive new current‑account business for a designated branch. You will explain and sell banking products, act as a liaison between customers and the bank, and support the Sales Manager in market mapping and opportunity identification.

Key responsibilities

• Acquire new‑to‑bank (NTB) current‑account customers in the assigned segment and generate references from the catchment area.
• Ensure high‑quality account acquisition with a balanced product, segment, and constitution mix.
• Register and activate acquired customers on digital banking channels.
• Meet and exceed monthly new‑customer acquisition targets by analysing transaction needs.
• Assist the Sales Manager with catchment mapping, scoping, and regular feedback on opportunities.
• Maintain compliance with internal guidelines, external regulations, and bank SOPs.
• Collaborate with other branch departments to deliver customer‑centric product solutions.

Required profile

• Graduate in any discipline.
• 0‑4 years of experience, preferably in banking or financial services sales.
• Full‑time availability.
