Assistant Manager – Tax & Finance

About the role

We are looking for an Assistant Manager to lead tax compliance and reporting across our global entities. You will work closely with tax consultants, finance, legal and operations teams to ensure accurate filing, audit readiness and strategic tax planning.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact with tax consultants for direct, indirect and withholding tax matters across all entities.
• Own the compliance calendar, ensuring timely preparation, review and filing of tax returns and payments in multiple jurisdictions.
• Lead audit readiness activities and manage responses to tax audits, inquiries and regulatory communications.
• Support tax planning initiatives and provide cross‑border advisory for new transactions, entity structures and commercial arrangements.
• Monitor evolving global tax regulations and translate them into actionable compliance updates.
• Drive accurate month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end close processes, including reconciliations and financial reporting.
• Maintain strong internal controls, ensure compliance with applicable standards and proactively mitigate tax‑related risks.
• Coordinate statutory and group audits in partnership with external auditors.
• Collaborate with finance, legal and operations teams to deliver decision‑ready financial insights to leadership.

Required profile

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 4‑5 years of post‑qualification experience.
• Hands‑on experience in both direct and indirect tax, preferably across multiple jurisdictions.
• Demonstrated ability to manage tax compliance calendars, filings and audit processes.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex tax regulations.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with internal stakeholders and external advisors.
