Accountant (Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh)

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Accountant to join our finance team in Kanpur. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate accounting records and supporting day‑to‑day financial operations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain day‑to‑day accounting records and financial transactions.
• Prepare, verify and process invoices, bills, vouchers and payment records.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Perform bank reconciliations and maintain cash and bank books.
• Handle GST‑related accounting, documentation and compliance.
• Calculate and record payroll data.
• Prepare MIS reports and financial summaries.
• Assist with audit preparation, compliance and financial documentation.
• Coordinate with internal departments, vendors and stakeholders on accounting matters.

Required profile

• B.Com or M.Com (or equivalent) with solid knowledge of accounting principles.
• CA Intermediate qualification is a plus.
• 2–4 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong numerical and analytical abilities with high attention to detail.
• Effective communication and coordination skills.
