Accountant (Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh)

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Accountant to manage day‑to‑day financial operations at our Kanpur office. The role includes maintaining accurate accounting records, processing invoices, handling GST compliance, and supporting audit activities.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain daily accounting records and financial transactions.
• Prepare, verify and record invoices, bills, vouchers and payment documents.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
• Perform bank reconciliations and maintain cash & bank books.
• Handle GST‑related accounting, documentation and filing.
• Calculate payroll, maintain payroll records and ensure statutory compliance.
• Prepare MIS reports, financial summaries and assist in audit preparation.
• Coordinate with internal departments, vendors and stakeholders on accounting matters.

Required profile

• B.Com or M.Com (or equivalent) with solid knowledge of accounting principles.
• CA Intermediate qualification is a plus.
• 2–4 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong numerical and analytical abilities.
